Ebay Comments III

So, two of my fellow bloggers, Geoff and J3K (AkA Jon) have posted links to a Ebay seller. What makes the seller funny is the comments that are left by buyers, and his/her responses to them.

But, that's just part of it. I was curious as to what he/she sold. So, I took a look.

Yah.. You thought the comments were funny and odd, what tell you see what they sell. Selling a Priceless healing rock signed by Jezuz. For the comments, go to the above blogs, or, for the items, follow the link.

Not So Funny

any
Originally uploaded by Paedur.
Hey! I remember saying this with all my computer adept friends, which, wether they be geeks or not, knew this was a joke.

"Hey, where is the 'Any' Key?" Ha Ha Ha.

Not so funny! Apparently, this is a actual problem that many Americans, and a few Canadians suffer from! There is no 'Any'.

Though, thank god for the small steps that are being taken to help these unfortunate souls lost when using their keyboards. Progressive thinking companies like Compaq have created FAQS to help people find out that the "Any" key in fact does not exist.

Next time you laugh at this joke, some schmoo is at that very moment, looking for a key that does not exist.

Simpons Voices...real life.

Came across this clip from the Conan O'Brian show with two of the voice actors from the show. It's rather strange to see the actors do the voices. A little surreal.

Holy Frickin Poll!

Well, I decided to play around with the Poll feature offered by Bravenet. I only get one I believe, so, this it.

Sorry that the images are frickin' huge! They are linked from Amazon. Anyways, I'm going to keep it, suck up some of your bandwidth. And, enjoy the poll. ;)

Games. :)

Well, I've been a little sick for the last few days, so, I'm been surfing the Net. So, here are some links to play!

Classic Games - This website offers a few older games, like Pac Man, Tetris, Asteriods and a few others. Great site if you just want to kill a bit of time. Brings back a few memories of dumping quarters into Asteriods.

Hapland - Found this at a friend's Blog, and it's rather addictive lil puzzle game. Hope to see a other level soon.

And finally, this is a link of a guy lip syncing a song. A geek, and, I dont think I've ever felt prouder to be part of the geekhood. And, if you are reading this, don't fool yourself, you too are a geek.

While you play the game, you get to see the thought process the computer goes through as it decides it's next move.

It predicts your moves with a series of green lines, and it's moves with orange. After plotting numerous outcomes, it decides on the best move.

Well worth it. :) 9,500 feet up, and then we got to bike all the way down to the ocean.

I miss it so much. Sob.

Magician's Law

So, here is the cover of the book where I get my handle from. I tend to use Paedur as my handle almost everywhere I go. Loved this book, enough that I bought a extra copies of it, and gave one to J3K (Jon) in case I ever lost mine. They are two other novels after this one, Demon's Law, and Death's Law.

Thankfully, Meisha publishing has collected all three into a single novel.

You know you do.

Why?

Because at this very moment, they are reading your mind. And, I personally believe this is the only way you can stop them! You laugh, but, the tin foil hat has been mocked forever. Perhaps that's disinformation, to make you believe they don't work.

Why not be safe? Follow these handy instructions here.

Censorship.

Fuck ya. I can censor this blog as much as I want. Is censorship wrong? You bet it is! Am I going to keep doing it? Hell yeah.

Why? Last time I checked, this is my blog. Not a forum for all of you to insult or correct each other. Leave interesting remarks, discuss things, throw a few jabs at each other. But, if a entry has 12 comments that has nothing to do with the blog, and I feel it becomes insultives, I'll censor it. Why? Because I can. Most of you have your own blogs. Do your posturing there. If you like, I can provide links.

1 - I'm going to censor this as much as I want.

2 - You don't like it. Fuck you.

3 - Have a Great Day! :)

Mike. :)

(Will I allow comments on this.. Hmm.. No... screw you.)

Never Defeated

Never Defeated
Originally uploaded by Paedur.
My friend Jon. I'll say one thing about him, he never gets defeated by anything. No task is to great for this man. As said picture. Let's break it down.

Frame 1 - Well, it takes the Jon many hours searching for the right rock. He likes Rocks. To quote Jon. "Rock pretty."

Frame 2 - Look at the concentration on his face. Determination!

Frame 3 - He didn't swing at the rock this time. He was amazed that it was floating there.

Frame 4 - Swing Batter, SWING!

Frame 5 - Time to find a other pretty rock to bash.

Frame 6 - Again, look at the determination on that face. Pure focus.

Frame 7 - Finally! After editting many hours of pictures, I am proud to bring you this quick collage of images of Jon defeating the rock with a stick! Way to GO, Jon! You are a Champ.

Frame 8 - Jon tired now.

Because someone sent this to you in Email..

One of the more annoying things I find about the Internet, and the people who use it, is this.

They think because there is a website on a subject, or you get a email about it, that it's true.

Case and point. Many of you may be getting a set of pictures of deep sea creatures found on beaches after the dreadful tsunami.

This is not real. They were not washed up on shore. But, people believe the email? Why? Because someone you know sent it? I've heard people talk about this picture at work, and they seem so disheartened when I tell them the truth. BUT, it's NOT REAL!

As a side note, that picture came from a Deep sea project of June 2003. It has nothing to do with the Tsunami.

George R. R. Martin

" said that I hoped to have the book done by the end of the year. Famous last words. No, it's not done, though I am getting closer. I have more than thirteen hundred pages in final draft form and another hundred or so in roughs or fragments, but there are still some chapters yet to write. I'm telling myself that I'm on the home stretch. As soon as FEAST as done, I will announce it here. "

Well, this is more or less for Sean and I. Home stretch? Can we truly hope. If it does get publish, what then? Do we read it, or wait a other bajillion years?

Calling in sick..

Well, I finally did it.. I called in sick, and the ironic thing is...I am sick.

That's all, I just want sympanthy now.
